Duplex
The Landing, Auckland International Airport
An 8,600m² warehouse duplex with office of 550m² (two storey at road frontage) and 400m² (single storey at rear). The warehouse is one long construction with a large canopy extending along the eastern side, protected from the prevailing wind. Perforated mesh panels texturally break up the office façades whilst providing sun shading to the glazed frontage. Designed for flexibility, the building was subsequently able to be subdivided into a front office with a 6,000m² warehouse and the balance as a single tenancy at the rear.
