Christ the King Church
and Parish Centre

A new Catholic Church and Parish Centre located on a prominent ridgeline on the southwestern edge of the Auckland isthmus. The design is organised around a singular axis running between a large dome over the main auditorium and freestanding obelisk.

The feature dome is based on the edicts of Vatican II which brings the architectural emphasis to the centre of the congregation.
