Air NZ Logistics Building

The Air New Zealand Logistics Building is a 5,000m² logistics facility with a canopy that spans a central yard between this building and existing areas. With space at the airport being in short supply, the site was extremely constrained. Therefore, this storage facility was cleverly designed as a high stud warehouse (15m to the portal knee) with in-rack sprinklers. To complicate things further, the building also needed to offer the streetscape visual interest whilst making the most of the small site area available. The articulation of longrun cladding and translucent panels generates textural attraction both day and night.
