Christ the King School (2009)

Brief: A new primary school built around an existing facility affected by the development of the SH20 motorway development.

The School is formed in one continuous building running along two road frontages. The outside walls have limited openings and form a sound shield for recreation areas to the interior of the site. A library space is located at the corner and allows public a solitary view to the Schools interior. A large obelisk is located at the corner signifying the Catholic nature of the site.

The School provides for 200 pupils and includes classrooms, main library and administration complex.
