New Marae (2006-2007)

Location: Auckland Airport

Services: Eclipse Architecture provided its services on a pro bono basis

Brief: New Marae complex at Auckland Airport comprising meeting house, dining hall and ablutions building. The meeting house includes a lounge at the rear for the Maori King. Auckland Airport built the complex in close collaboration with local iwi and the deceased Maori Queen whose personal carvers worked on the project.
